Celebrate Adoption Events in Connecticut

In recognition of National Adoption Month, the Post-Adoption Resource Center at Lutheran Social Services of New England presents two very significant events in November 2007 open to all adoptive families across the New England region. CELEBRATE ADOPTION DAY! on Sunday, November 11, 2-5 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell, CT is a special afternoon for adoptive families that includes multiple interactive activities for children with a focus on adoption. GRIEF & LOSS BEHAVIORS IN ADOPTED CHILDREN by Michael Pines, Ph.D. on Friday, November 16, 9 AM -1 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell, CT is a special seminar for adoption professionals and adoptive parents with Michael Pines, Ph.D., a renowned psychologist with extensive experience treating adopted children and their families.
