Your unborn baby cast in bronze

3D printing technology is now allowing ultrasounds to be printed out into 3D bronze casts of your unborn baby. This technology can also assist with those babies that need surgery before birth. For parents whose unborn babies have been diagnosed with a likely terminal genetic condition - it could provide real validation of their parenthood and help with the grieving process. It's still very rare and expensive but hopefully costs will fall. I could also see this technology becoming very important some day in adoption for birth mothers and adoptive parents alike.
