A clash of rights can create a no-man's land for advocates. The battle raging over the "rights" of adoptees to their identities, medical information and, potentially, access to their birth parent(s) and the "rights" of birth parents to remain anonymous is a wrenching illustration.

The parents should loose that right when they decided to do the deed!With the exception of rape or incest.People need to take responsibility for what the "choose" to do. I feel that ALL medical history as well as a picture and first name should be available once the child is 18 and requests that information !! As well as one communication "letter" through the agency that provided that service.As for the mothers that don't want this known because they do not want their new family to have knowledge of this,well......you shouldn't be lying about it to begin with
