For the internationally adopted child, there are even greater benefits to homeschooling. Many of these children are adopted at the toddler age or even older, causing language and learning delays. When schooled at home, these children get the individual attention not offered to them in a public school setting. They are also allowed to learn at their own pace, creating a more encouraging environment in which to excel.
